April Begins

Hi!  April was such a busy month that I will have to share it in two installments.  Here's the first part.

It started out with my feet kicked up.

Then I decided to explore.  I wanted to read this particular edition of "Good Housekeeping".

I celebrated Grammy's birthday.

She needed some help opening my gift.

I think she liked my present.

Then we gave her some ice cream with a candle in it.

She also needed my help eating it.

Grammy, I don't think you should have to finish that bowl by yourself.

I really think you need more help.

I enjoy playing with my word cards.

And clapping my hands.

Here's your cheek shot. I know it might take a minute to soak them in.  Take your time.

Grammy gave me a spaceship walker.  Beep, beep.  I only know reverse.

I like having matching toys in my hands; like these forks.

And these cups.

And these plates.

Why is this in my way?

Let me use my Jedi skills to move it.

Come on, now.  The force is with me.

Maybe I should try something smaller first.

I'll just do it the old fashioned way and use brute stength.

Here I am playing with Dad on my nine month birthday.

I love my Daddy.

He always makes me giggle.

Just hangin' out before we started our walk. Let's get rollin'.

Here we are playing again.  I was giving him a kiss.

Now I'm wrestling him with my toes. 1, 2, 3 - you're down for the count!

Now we're singing my victory song.  Notice that I have my two triangle shaped (matching) toys in my hands.

I had some special visitors! LaSaundra and Dunbar came to see me from Los Angeles.

They were so much fun!

Your white teeth are mesmerising.

They're very special friends of my parents.

Then I played with my friend, Harris.  He had some tasty legos.
Then I played with my friend, Caleb.

He had some tasty toys too.

I passed out after church and needed something over my face. This is the latest invention to keep babies from snoring.

Oh, and I have started crawling.

Here's a video of my early crawling days.

I love having toys in my hands while I crawl through the house.

Let's see if you can keep up with me.
