Well, the first two weeks of June have been the start of an early summer for me. I'm 23 months old! I've really started talking and forming short sentences. I can count to five. I know the color orange, but I call all other colors blue.
Daddy has been working on his 'big boat at church' so I go to check on the progress and play with the puppets they are using for VBS.
Inspection looking good so far.
Even before I knew this was Daddy's puppet, I liked it the best.
Grandmomma can tell I'm proud of Daddy.
I like my swimsuit so much I want to wear it around the house. I don't think Mom needs to take pictures though.
It's called 'baby belly.'
Daddy taught me how to hold my strawberries by their leaves.
I love going outside.
What do I do now?
I think I'll squeeze and push chairs around.
Grammy (I call her Hudgy) came to play with me.
I still have the cheeks.
I showed her my class at church.
And Daddy's 'big boat.'
I got to play with Lydia!
I like to start my mornings with oats and a Highlights read.
I can't quite reach this oat.
I buckle my babies and animals in my highchair (repeatedly).
Granddaddy & Grandmomma stopped by and I had to exercise for them.
Complete floor routine with grunts.
Don't forget the hamstrings.
And a sliding kick.
It's pool season at my house!
Here, Mommy.
It's 'heaby' (heavy)!
The pool got old, but the 'bacbuum' was entertaining.
This is how I go down stairs. Have you noticed these are my two fave bracelets?
I really enjoyed my first chocolate chip muffin. I called it a 'Cupcake.'
Who has chocolate on their face?
You need chocolate on your face, too!
I helped 'took' (cook).
This is how to kill a 'bud' (bug) 101. 1) Act like you see a 'bud.'
2) Squash the imaginary 'bud.'
3) Proudly show off your imaginary squish.
Any questions?
I love wiping.
I had a blast running under Daddy's legs.
'Diving' (driving) Daddy's 'tuck' (truck).
Hey! Outta my way!
Shh. My baby's 'seepin' (sleeping).
I went to a friend's birthday party. I didn't want to walk around with my bare feet and these bats couldn't go in the pool so I stayed out with them.
We retreated indoors when it rained.
My dress from "Hula Honey." Thanks Auntie Kimberly & Uncle Z!
Another friend came over to play with me. I think the x should go in that square.
Stuffing my clothes with balls.
I (forcefully) taught my baby to use the potty. She sits underneath the seat.
It only took a couple of times and she got the hang of it.
Flush and all.
I put these shoes on all by myself.
I won't fit like this much longer.
We played a game while I ate. I would point to something on my plate and say, "Appledasauce?" Mommy would say, "Noooo." Then I would call it what it really was while giggling.
This time I inspected the 'big boat' and the puppet practice.
We attended a wedding. We walked around the dance floor holding hands. It was great fun!
I had to have a snack after all of that walking.
I don't sit in the pool. I stand, scoop, squat, & pour.
At the fountains. Here, Mommy.
Blowing bubbles with a bubble gun. We also swapped shoes.
The puddle fascinated us more than the bubbles.
Playing with the water hose.
'Keanin' (cleaning) the 'taber' (table).
I blew bubbles!!!
I chose chocolate ice cream over orange sherbet.
I love summer!
