My 1st birthday party was on May 9, 2015. We also celebrated Mother's Day. Sister helped our grandmothers open their gifts while I napped.
Happy Mother's Day! We love you!
These are my pictures for each month of my first year that Mommy and Aunt Stacie made.
Woke up from my morning nap excited about my party!
Here's the stoic look.
Pretty good, huh, Granddaddy?
Enjoying a blueberry muffin from my grandparents.
Our friends came over and we played!
Semi-professional photographers.
Did someone say food!
Grandmomma, please. After the huge lunch I just ate, let's not waste time on berries. I heard there's cake?
Everybody sang!
This is the best!
Let me at him!
Um . . . what do I do?
Flip him back over?
I can't let him get the best of me.
Everyone else had this.
I figured out how to handle this.
Yelling at it helped.
Yes, I have the upper hand.
This ended up being my method.
Man, this thing is sweet!
Call in reinforcements for clean-up.
Time for presents.
That meant nothing to me. I was too busy being social.
They chased me down to get me to open presents.
I'm off.
Abigail, can you open my presents please?
Birthday card from Hutchie.
This guy speaks my language. The balls pop out of this hole and I get to put them back in. I had lots of fun.
We sang our songs from our school's performance/graduation night.
Not often will you find G frowning. Similarities?
I can do this all by myself.
Sit still? You do know I'm one, don't you?
The gold confetti from this weight fascinated me.
Then I was off. Sister tried to wrangle me.
My actual birthday. I got to play with the coveted phone. I just turned it around and around in my hands.
Played with my party balloons. I loved throwing them over my head.
Where is it?
Oh, you can't hide from me.
What's up here?
Took a stroll.
Watched a video.
Helped clean a new house for a family at church.
How do you ever get these things untangled?
Fell asleep on the way to get my sister from school.
Found muffin paper my sister left for me.
Had supper at the park. I'm watching my sister play with our daddy.
Fed the ducks.
Awestruck wonder at these creatures.
What an awesome birthday! Thank you! When can we do it again?
