April Continued

Welcome back!  This is the second installment for April.

I visited my friend, Lydia. I was very interested in learning all about her and her toys.  My dad was holding me back so I didn't crawl on her and smash her.

Her toys were a good barrier for me.

I'm looking forward to playing with her when she's older.

Mom and I had on matching outfits.

I visited my Aunt Kensley and Uncle Scott.  I am advertising for a duck race.

Wanna buy a duck?

I'm helping her get on top of her work.

We shared an orange to get energized after all of that hard work.

I played with Molson.  I'm telling him about my puppy dog (the one in my hand).

Is my laundry finished?

I'm flyin' with the eagles with Uncle Scott!

I'm thinking about that orange.

Matching toys is my specialty. The plates.

The two pink blankets.

Word cards.

The two round pieces from my basket, after playing with the two square pieces.

And a round of applause for the two cups!

The month ended with two really big events.  The first was meeting Uncle Dr. Z and Auntie Kimberly from Reno, Nevada! He is my mom's older brother and Kimberly is his wife.

I've gotta make sure I'm ok with you.

Yep.  I'm ok with you.

Aunt Kimberly is explaining the 4 c's.

She is most definitely my blingest aunt.  This is advice to hold onto for the future. The shirt I have on is in honor of her. It reads: "Never too young for diamonds".

The second event was a bridal shower for Ms. Martha's grandson, Wiley, and his fiance, Courtney. It was a "Derby" hat party.  I believe that I stole the crowd's votes for best hat.

You don't think it was for best hat, huh?  You think it was for best cheeks!

Well, you might be right.

Anyway, then she opened up our present and loved it! This is my kind of par-tay!

Granddaddy enjoyed my company.

Let's talk about throwing a party like this for me one day.

I also visited with my Auntie Kimberly (green hat) and Auntie Ding. We discussed blingy rings.

Mom and I had some fun moments together in our hats.

Here's my family. Back: Uncle Dr. Z, Aunt Kimberly, Mom, Me, Dad, Aunt Kensley, Uncle Scott. Front: Granddaddy, Smoochie & Molson.

Thank you for letting me be a part of the festivities, Ms. Martha!

Granddaddy, let's finish the discussion we started outside earlier.

Ha, ha! This is my kind of talkin'!

We went to dinner and this was my clue to the server that he's taking too long bringing my avocado.

So we played peek-a-boo to pass the time.

I know you can't see me.

I played with Auntie Ding before she left.

Then I played with Uncle Dr. Z before he left.

He thinks that I'm pretty entertaining.

It was so fun visiting with you!  What a cool way to finish up April. Thanks for coming to see me!

Here is a video of me laughing at Smoochie while she fake coughs.

Love to all of you!

April Begins

Hi!  April was such a busy month that I will have to share it in two installments.  Here's the first part.

It started out with my feet kicked up.

Then I decided to explore.  I wanted to read this particular edition of "Good Housekeeping".

I celebrated Grammy's birthday.

She needed some help opening my gift.

I think she liked my present.

Then we gave her some ice cream with a candle in it.

She also needed my help eating it.

Grammy, I don't think you should have to finish that bowl by yourself.

I really think you need more help.

I enjoy playing with my word cards.

And clapping my hands.

Here's your cheek shot. I know it might take a minute to soak them in.  Take your time.

Grammy gave me a spaceship walker.  Beep, beep.  I only know reverse.

I like having matching toys in my hands; like these forks.

And these cups.

And these plates.

Why is this in my way?

Let me use my Jedi skills to move it.

Come on, now.  The force is with me.

Maybe I should try something smaller first.

I'll just do it the old fashioned way and use brute stength.

Here I am playing with Dad on my nine month birthday.

I love my Daddy.

He always makes me giggle.

Just hangin' out before we started our walk. Let's get rollin'.

Here we are playing again.  I was giving him a kiss.

Now I'm wrestling him with my toes. 1, 2, 3 - you're down for the count!

Now we're singing my victory song.  Notice that I have my two triangle shaped (matching) toys in my hands.

I had some special visitors! LaSaundra and Dunbar came to see me from Los Angeles.

They were so much fun!

Your white teeth are mesmerising.

They're very special friends of my parents.

Then I played with my friend, Harris.  He had some tasty legos.
Then I played with my friend, Caleb.

He had some tasty toys too.

I passed out after church and needed something over my face. This is the latest invention to keep babies from snoring.

Oh, and I have started crawling.

Here's a video of my early crawling days.

I love having toys in my hands while I crawl through the house.

Let's see if you can keep up with me.
