February 1-15, 2015

Hi.  February has started rough.  Garrett did not feel well.  Actually, he was pretty pitiful on February 1st.

He tried so hard to be himself.

I got to go to church even though G had to stay home.

We went to the doctor the next day.  Mommy thought he might have an ear infection.

I sang songs and played G's guitar while we waited.

Mommy was correct.  He had an ear infection, but he also tested positive for the flu and RSV. The doctor was shocked he wasn't sicker than he was and that he had no fever.  Praise God for that and for no hospitalization.  We did breathing treatments and had to keep him in for a week.

I still did all my usual stuff.  I'm ready for school!

I gravitate to this spot.

I wrote my name with no help.

Little crawler, so cute!

They call him "Nitro" at church.

Chased Mommy's socks around the house.

Opening drawers.

Running some errands.

Oui, oui, le chocolat est délicieux.

More sippy tricks, and that chocolate made it all the way to my forehead!

Miller's schoolwork.

Let's start sippynastics.

Sometimes I get stuck.

I'm the trash person.  This is where I sort the trash and you shouldn't be here because it's stinky.

Put "polish" (make-up) on myself.  That's eye shadow around my mouth.

Working on my valentines for school.  I can read everyone's name on this list.

Had some good moments during this recovery process.

Is that some curl back there?

I got to where I wanted to do it.

And shake it.

We made valentine cards for our grandparents.

Miller wanted her hands pointing up.

She wrote "Love."

Are we as tall as my daddy?

I can help you, Garrett.

Slicing food for our pretend lunch.

Giving a concert.

It's a dramatic piece.

Going to school.  It was a big deal to wear all of my Lydia accessories.

My class made a quilt.

Self portrait.

It's our Valentine Party Day!

And we left early because it snowed.  You can see how serious the snow was while we caught it on our tongues.

Lydia and her mommy brought me home and then she stayed and played!

This is how you crawl, Garrett.

This is how you walk.  Come on, let's go!

We had a photo shoot and Mommy snapped some shots as previews.

Can we be done by now? I really want to go play.

Construction on the house continues.

Back at one of my favorite stores.  Every time we go, I play with the Olafs, even though I've never seen the movie. I'm making car noises as I drive.

We must visit the toy department.

Getting so much better.

Supposed to be taking a nap. . .

. . .totally didn't happen.  Mommy has decided I don't need a regular nap anymore.  Instead, I wake up around 7:30 a.m. and go to bed around 8:30 p.m. That's an adjustment for Mommy ;-)

It's 20 degrees outside and I want to act like I'm swimming.

Daddy surprised Mommy and me with some cake pops for Valentine's Day!

He cut paper to make them look like flowers.

I liked smelling them.

Went to the train depot to enjoy some stories about trains. I wore my engineer hat, Thomas jacket, and I took my train whistle.

This is a mannequin next to me.

I like the toy train.

Grandmomma and Granddaddy came over on Valentine's Day to make breakfast for me.

Later that day Garrett, Mommy, Daddy and I went shopping. I pushed this through the whole store.

I "helped" Mommy with recipes.

I heard them say my sister never did this.

Getting up on my knees.

And on one foot.

Whatcha got cookin'?

See you soon!
