June 1-15, 2015

These two weeks had quite a few firsts happen for us!
Buddy started taking some steps all on his own! His most common words to say are, "Uh oh, nigh nigh (night night), hello, hi, Daddo, and Mama."

I started swimming lessons.

Watching the class before me.  Mommy thought I seemed a little apprehensive, but I tried my best to not show it.

Until I got in the water.  I did not like that I had to be in these unsure waters all by myself with a bunch of strangers. I did everything they asked me to do through the tears.  The teacher wouldn't let me get out until class was over so I hung on his back.

We spent the afternoon out and about.

I made friends with every person in this pizza joint.

Awestruck at Toys R Us.

I got my first bike!  I chose this one because it was comfortable and has hearts on it.  Hearts mean  I'm loved.

Practice session at a friend's pool.

The next day we went to lunch with a friend of Grandmommy's to celebrate Grandmommy's birthday.  Thank you, Mrs. Sandra, and we missed you, Mrs. Martha.

Then we went to Toys R Us to pick up my bike!

And another practice session.  I'm making really good progress.  This is only the second day and I'm getting in the water, jumping, blowing bubbles, putting my face in and kicking.

Learning to ride my bike.

We got to see Hutchie!  I'm playing music while whacking a mole.

There's never a lack of fun things to do here.

If it's elevated, I will climb it.

We also got to see our cousins!

My first ever video game.

At church with our cousins and Hutchie.

Fell asleep for the night on the drive back.

Huge improvement!  This is me on the fourth day of lessons.
Jumping

Going under

Enjoying myself

Buddy wasn't feeling so well so we took him to the doctor.  He had double ear infections and the croup.

Miller's helping me walk.

And play the "pinano" (piano).

I colored.  That's me next to the tree holding a flower for the bee to come and drink its honey.

This is our family.  From the left: G standing on his head, Mommy, me, and Daddy.

I went to a friend's birthday party.

I don't think Daddy has seen these pictures yet.

Who put cheese on my head?

Going to a wedding.  Buddy wasn't feeling well yet and did not want to be held for a picture.

In my new car seat.

Daddy was a groomsman in the wedding.

I enjoyed time with one of my faves at the reception.

Telling Daddy bye before he left for his mission trip to Iceland.

Working the TV remote.

Playing farm

I want all the controls.

Climbing

I got to see a real train!

Noodle fun at my swim lesson.

First time at Chuck E Cheese!  It didn't take long for me to get the hang of this place.  I liked throwing with both hands.

Thanks, Grandmomma!

This game ended up being my favorite and I was really accurate.

I thanked Chuck for letting us come.

Fast asleep even in this position.

I played with some new friends.

Swim lesson

Not quite ready to relax while floating.

Took a tour of a cheese factory.

I made another farm with these cows.

Then I put them back.

Back at Chuck E Cheese!

This time my game of choice was spraying the ducks with water.

Mommy took me to a shopping mall.

This tree is so big!

Playing with rings. Comin' your way!

We took Daddy to the airport.

Iceland crew heading to cut trees, minister, and do construction for a church.

Mommy and I had lunch.

Then we shopped.

Back at home I'm climbing.

Climbed in here.

I found Legos at our grandparents' house.

Mommy's redoing our dining room chairs.  I'm climbing on the cushions.

I love handing things to people.

I got a new baby and a microphone!

My trip to the ice cream shop for my 10 green cards!

Sodor engineering

Facetime call with Daddy from Iceland.

I love electronics.  Now I turn the DVD player on/off repeatedly.

What will happen next?
