February

Hi!  February was a very busy month!  It was my first leap year and lots of other great events.

My parents dedicated me to the Lord at our church on February 12th.

All of my grandparents came over for lunch and playtime after the service.

Grammy is helping me show Granddaddy the clothes I have in my washing machine.

Granddaddy has nicknamed Grandmomma "Smoochie".  It seems like a good fit.

I still love playing peek-a-boo!

So it's winter and my parents take me for walks.

I watched the Superbowl with my grandaddy.  Are they going to score?

Grammy took this picture while she was with me one afternoon.

These are pictures from my seven-month birthday!

If something is in my hands, it's also in my mouth.

Life is sweet.

Mom has this picture as her desktop background on her computer.

It snowed so I had a good reason to wear my toboggan that Aunt Kimberly and Uncle Dr. Z sent me from Seattle.

I had lunch with my parents' good friends and their daughter.  She's not ready to play with me yet.

I gave her dad some tips. He thought I was very wise.

I visited with my aunt and uncle and their dog, Molson. My aunt is very fashionable so we talk clothes when I'm with her.  Do you think this color looks good with my eyes?

Hang on, Molson.  I'll find one for you.

Wheeeee! This is fun!

Uncle Scott likes my cheeks.

I'm thinking about being a dentist.  Can I practice on you?

Aunt Kensley practiced feeding me.

We shopped for couches.  I wasn't so sure about this reclining action.

I touched the dog.

I'm getting dressed before church.

Hello?

I'm taking baths in the big person bathtub.

I get clean and then they slather lotion all over me.

I have the best time playing with my toys.

I attended the youth orchestra concert where my mom conducted.  I was very proud of her.

I'm getting close to crawling.

Spring is coming soon so my parents took me outside to see the pretty blooms.

What's this?

What are you doing over there?

Um, I'm being surrounded by furry things.

What is that?

I was so exhausted after this month that I just had to crash on my giraffe.

My First Valentine's Day

Here are pictures from my first Valentine's Day.  It actually ended up being about three days of celebrating but it's all for the same reason: Love.

Grandmomma brought me a present with a card that was made just for me.

It talks about peek-a-boo? That's so me.

The present she brought me was a "Stack-a-Cake".

I found the tags!

This is soooo tasty.

This is great.  Thank you!

Found the candle!

Look! No hands! It's all in the jaws.

I surprised Daddy with a special valentine just from me.

Mom helped me make him a card with my picture on the front and a poem about his surprise on the back.

Let's go find them!

Here's one!

Looks tasty.

Where are the others?

Here's another!

Here you go, Dad.

We made hearts with the twist ties.

Mom and Dad gave me a balloon.

This was such a great toy!

Then I got a present.

What's in here?

It's a heart shaped book.

Can you read it to me?

Oooohh.  It's my first pop-up book.

Thank you!

Granddaddy & Grandmomma visited.

Grammy gave me a Speedo hat and swim diaper.

I really like them.

Thank you!

She also gave me my first computer.

I really like opening and closing it.

That was my first Valentine's Day!  I feel loved all of the time!
